Easter Weekend Events In Tuscaloosa

Bunnies and Baskets: 4-6 p.m. Friday at Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa, 1801 Rice Mine Road North. Activities include free petting zoo and pony rides. Free food and free Easter baskets for the first 50 children. Call 345-1112.

CHOM’s Egg-Stravaganza Egg Hunt: 5-7:30 p.m. Friday at the Children’s Hands-On Museum, 2213 University Blvd. Indoor egg hunt with more than 1,000 eggs. Two separate areas for younger and older kids. Hunt eggs and cash in for prizes. Egg hunt admission opens at 5 p.m. Games from 5-5:30 p.m. and egg hunt at 6 p.m. Bunny bags will be provided to children only. No baskets allowed. Call 349-4235.

Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt: 8-10 p.m. Friday at Bryce Lawn on the University of Alabama campus. Presented by University Programs Free food, giveaways, inflatables, and more. More than 9,000 eggs.

Bunny Hop Festival: 8 a.m. Saturday at the YMCA Tuscaloosa, 2300 13th St. Kids whose parents are running in the Rabbit Run 8K can participate, but all children are welcome. There will be Easter crafts, a tour of a fire truck, an egg race and mascots, including the Easter Bunny.

EasterFest: Sponsored by First Wesleyan Church, this is Tuscaloosa’s largest annual Easter weekend festival. The event at Snow Hinton Park will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday. There will be games, inflatables, free food, face painting, rock climbing walls and an egg hunt with 27,000 eggs. The hunt starts at 10:30 a.m.

Community Easter Egg Hunt: 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at Remnant Worship Center , 12170 North River Lodge Lane, Northport. Free for infants to 12-year-olds. Lots of eggs to be found including prize eggs. Free food. Easter photo booth and fun for the whole family. Call 650-2075.

Courthouse Bunny Hop: 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Pickens County Courthouse, 20 Phoenix Ave. in Carrollton. The Bunny Hop will include an egg hunt.
