tips to help make this a seamless transition:
1-Do a test run
2-Visit the child-care center or school your child will attend a couple of days before the first day to help him or her become familiar with the area. It’s a great idea to enter the school, walk through the classroom and find the restroom.
3-talk about the fun activities the teachers have planned.
4-An older child can be part of the plan. Discuss what will occur on the first day of school with your child and let him or her take part in choosing the clothes he or she will wear; shopping for and packing a book bag; or getting a lunch box
5- I'd like to throw this idea out...."Get a trapper keeper! I used one in grade school and boy did it become my safety blanket. It held everything from glue to my rookie Don Mattingly card that is now worth 14 dollars." : >)
Heres the video I talked about on-air today. I think it's funny that EVERYBODY runs except the plaintiff and the defendant! A TV studio is a bad place to be during a QUAKE like this. Biggest Quake in Caly since 1994 too!
